The Sussexes went on a spring break holiday! According to PEOPLE, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry whisked their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, on a celebratory trip. The outlet reported on April 16 that it understands the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “enjoyed a sun-soaked spring break getaway” with their five-year-old son and three-year-old daughter “to mark the milestone of Meghan’s new projects,” which include her Netflix series, launch of her As ever brand and new podcast series, Confessions of a Female Founder.
It’s unclear where the family of four went for their holiday. The Duke and Duchess recently embarked on solo trips. Meghan traveled to New York City last week, where she watched Gypsy on Broadway, while Harry made a surprise visit to Ukraine on April 10 after attending a two-day court hearing in London.
The past month has been an exciting one for the Duchess of Sussex. Her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, which is returning for a second season this fall, debuted last month, while her first As ever collection and all-new podcast series from Lemonada Media launched earlier this month.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Harry voiced his support for Meghan’s business ventures. “I am so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she’s done and continues to do,” the Duke said, adding, “I’m incredibly proud.”
While the mom of two has had a busy spring, PEOPLE reported that parenthood is the Duke and Duchess’ focus at home, with their children being the center of their world in California.
In episode 2 of Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan, whose official titles are The Duchess of Sussex, Countess of Dumbarton and Baroness Kilkeel, called the title of “mom” her “favorite title.”
“I love being a mom so much. It’s my favorite thing,” Meghan gushed on the episode. “It is the thing where you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, I just need a break, I just need a minute, I just need a minute.’ And the second that you step into the room, you go… Let me scroll through pictures of them endlessly on my phone. My husband is like, ‘My love, can you just give yourself a minute? Why don’t you go work out? Why don’t you go take a bath?’ I’m like, ‘I know, but I just want to cuddle.'”
She continued, “It’s the parenting paradigm where it is so full on and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
