The good news is that this year’s broadcast setup is surprisingly kind to the American continent viewers. 

Thailand may be twelve hours ahead of New York, but the schedule is lining up in a viewer-friendly way that avoids any painful early morning alarms. The finals take place bright and early in Thailand at 8 a.m. on November 21. That timing translates beautifully for audiences in the United States. Thailand’s bold stage for global beauty

The 2025 Miss Universe pageant will unfold at Impact Challenger Hall, the exhibition and convention mega center located in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. This venue is known for hosting massive events that need serious space and serious technology. It is also cherished for its sleek, modern feel, which pairs beautifully with the Miss Universe brand. 

Thailand has long been one of the most passionate supporters of pageantry. Hosting again gives the country a chance to flex its production muscle and its love for spectacle. Expect elaborate stage designs, vibrant cultural nods, and lighting that seems engineered by someone who believes strongly in the power of contour.

Who will guide the glitter this year?

The hosting lineup in Spanish this year features Carlos Adyan, Danilo Carrera, Jessica Carrillo, and Jacqueline Bracamonte. Each brings a slightly different flavor of charisma, creating a well-balanced mix.

In English, the pageant will be hosted by stand-up comedian and actor Steve Byrne, with Miss Universe 1993, Dayanara Torres, and Miss Universe 2022, R’Bonney Gabriel. Their job is to keep the pageant flowing, the suspense rising, and the energy high as contestants from around the world compete in interviews, runway segments, and that iconic final question moment where global pressure and glam collide.

The run-up to Miss Universe always feels like the world’s most glamorous countdown clock. You get the national costumes that look like they escaped from a fantasy novel. You get candidates who have trained like Olympic athletes in stilettos. And you get fans who support their countries with the passion of lifelong sports fans.

This year has the added excitement of returning to a country known for hosting pageants with heart and high drama. The combination of Thailand’s enthusiasm, a polished broadcast plan, and a globally diverse group of contestants means this is shaping up to be one of the most-streamed and most talked about editions yet.

In 2025, the new Miss Universe will be crowned with The Lumiere De L’Infini, a crown that debuted during the 2024 Miss Universe pageant. According to Raul Rocha, Miss Universe president, the crown is “the most beautiful in the history of Miss Universe” and was designed by the Philippine jewelry brand Jewelmer. 

It was handcrafted using traditional techniques and features 23 golden pearls, also known as South Sea Pearls. These stunning gems are regarded as the national gem of the Philippines.
