Kylie Jenner’s summer trip through Europe has taken an unexpectedly dramatic turn, and it all started with a plate of pasta in a picturesque Greek village. The reality star, 27, dined at Tassia, a family-run restaurant in Fiscardo, Kefalonia, during her glamorous Mediterranean escape.
What was meant to be a proud moment for the owners quickly became a starting point for mixed reactions, including negative comments, after their Instagram tribute to the famous reality star sparked backlash.
“It was a true pleasure to host such a remarkable guest,” wrote restaurateurs Polychronis Dendrinos and Tassia Dendrinou. “An iconic entrepreneur and global trendsetter, she experienced a taste of our Greek hospitality and cuisine.”
Calling Kylie’s visit “a true honor,” the pair posted a smiling photo of the Kylie Cosmetics founder in their restaurant wearing a white, ruffled dress. Online users flooded the comments section, accusing the owners of giving preferential treatment to celebrities.

Some even called for a boycott of the restaurant. However, other online users defended the family restaurant. “People who are getting mad at this need to touch grass,” one person fired back. Another added, “So weird that people are getting upset over this post. I promise you if a celebrity as famous as Kylie Jenner supported a business that they owned, they would want to post about it too!”

After a modest 3,800 Instagram followers, Tassia’s post with Kylie helped them gain 23,000 likes and hundreds of comments. The restaurant has a history of welcoming celebrity guests and sharing posts in their honor.
