‘You have a beautiful voice’

Lola Consuelos, daughter of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, captivated her followers with a heartfelt acoustic performance. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter decided to show off her musical skills, with many online users praising her for following her dreams.

Lola took to social media to share a video strumming her guitar and singing an original song, captioning the video with a simple “Bored.”Fans quickly took to the comments to praise her musical abilities. 

One user commented, “Lola, that was amazing, you have a beautiful voice there, girlfriend!!!!” while someone else added, “You sound amazing. Can’t wait till you have an album come out.”

Later that day, Lola shared a photo on her Instagram Story of herself performing a cartwheel inside a music studio, hinting at her ongoing creative projects.

Lola’s passion for music is well-known to her fans. After graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2023, she released her debut single, “Paranoia Silverlining.” She followed this with singles like “Divine Timing” and “Roles,” showcasing her growth as an artist. 

Her music, described as “soulful” with elements of R&B, reflects her personal experiences and influences. “Miley Cyrus has been such a singular influence in her life,” her mom, Kelly, said to E! News at the Disney Legends Awards in August 2024.

“Hannah Montana was such a huge show in our house,” she shared. Lola attended the ceremony to see Miley, highlighting the admiration she holds for the fan-favorite artist. 

In addition to her parents’ support, Lola’s boyfriend, Cassius Kidston, has been a source of encouragement. She has described him as offering valuable advice and support for her ongoing music career. 

“I think he’s supportive in the way that my parents are,” she explained to the publication in July 2023. “That’s all you can really ask for because they’re not singers. He’s not a singer. I’m the singer here. So they all give the advice that they can to the best of their ability.”
