Jennifer Garner feels for young parents. In a new interview discussing her new business, Garner opened up about parenting and the challenges that affect first-time parents, who are facing these feelings and challenges for the first time.
“I just have so much heart for young parents and how much you want to do everything right,” said Garner in an interview with PEOPLE. “I’ve been there. I know that pressure.”
“Those first onesies, first pajamas, those first clothes hold so much memory,” she continued, revealing that she still keeps a box of clothing items from her kids’ baby days. “So knowing that our designs are going to be on these squishy little bodies just brings me so much joy.”
Garner had her first child, Violet, in 2005. She later had Fin and Samuel, with her sharing all of them with her ex, Ben Affleck.
The interview came following the release of her new project, a collaboration between her brand Once Upon a Farm and Carter’s, which consists of soft baby and kids’ clothing.
Her company makes healthy snacks and meals for kids and babies. “Part of wanting to be a co-founder of Once Upon a Farm was the idea that we couldn’t just feed babies and kids a whole new level of nutrition without added sugar, with real freshness and the natural texture and vibrance of fruits and vegetables; we also wanted to make that level of quality available to more children,” she said.

Earlier this month, Garner made some amazing revelations about Affleck’s musical taste, revealing that he’s a Beyoncé fan. Garner revealed that Beyoncé even played a key part in the development of one of Affleck’s most famous movies, reports PEOPLE.
“Ben Affleck listens to a song over and over. I had a three-month-old and a three-year-old living in a rental in Cambridge, Massachusetts, while he was shooting ‘The Town.’ And he listened to Beyoncé’s ‘Halo,’ and I would be nursing,” she said at an appearance at a bookstore in Los Angeles.
© Pascal Le SegretainAffleck has spoken about this habit in the past, revealing that music, especially repetition, is a big part of his work process. “I listen to music when I write, and usually I will find a couple of songs that are inspiring to me and I just sort of put them on a loop, and then I will write to music,” he said back in 2016, in an interview published on the Golden Globes website.
“And I find that it’s kind of hypnotic, and it allows me to concentrate more, and it puts me more in the kind of feeling of the scene that I want the story to have. And so I think music is really, really helpful.”
