While speaking to Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1, Roach dropped a statement that instantly set social media timelines on fire.
“The wedding has already happened,” he teased, before adding with a laugh, “You missed it.” When pressed on whether he was serious, Roach doubled down. “It’s very true!” Representatives for both Zendaya and Holland have not yet publicly confirmed the claim.

Speculation about a possible engagement began during the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 5. Zendaya, 29, was photographed wearing a diamond ring on the ring finger of her left hand, immediately sparking engagement headlines.
The following day, TMZ reported that the couple was indeed engaged, citing sources close to them. That same day, an insider told PEOPLE that Holland, also 29, had been thinking about proposing for quite some time.
