Zendaya made an unexpected stop at a Las Vegas wedding chapel over the weekend — and the surprise appearance had guests doing a double-take.
The actress, 29, showed up Saturday, March 14, when A24 hosted a one-day wedding chapel event in Las Vegas. The pop-up chapel was created for couples who wanted to tie the knot “the A24 way” ahead of the release of Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s upcoming movie, The Drama.
While Alana Haim helped kick off the event by DJing the chapel’s opening, Zendaya made a surprise entrance during one lucky couple’s ceremony.
Videos shared to A24’s Instagram Stories show the moment a bride was walking down the aisle with her father when Zendaya suddenly peeked her head through the chapel doors. The unexpected cameo immediately drew gasps from guests.
In the clips, Zendaya — who appeared to be wearing a thin gold ring on her left hand — watched the ceremony unfold from the doorway.
Later videos show the former Spider-Man star cheering and clapping as the bride and groom shared their first kiss. After the ceremony, Zendaya posed for photos with the newlyweds before even signing their marriage license as a witness.
Her appearance comes as rumors continue to swirl about her own relationship with Tom Holland. The couple, who got engaged over the 2024 holiday season, recently sparked speculation that they may have secretly gotten married.
The ring spotted on Zendaya’s left hand only added more fuel to the chatter. According to People, a source also claimed the actress was overheard accepting congratulations from attendees at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards on March 12.
Her longtime stylist, Law Roach, also stirred up speculation earlier this month. Speaking to Access Hollywood at the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet on March 1, Roach teased that “the wedding has already happened,” adding, “You missed it.”
Meanwhile, the rumors picked up even more momentum after Liza Colón-Zayas — who will appear alongside the pair in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day — shared Roach’s comments on her Instagram Stories. She tagged both actors and added a simple heart-hands emoji.
As for the Vegas chapel event, A24 fully leaned into the theme of Zendaya and Pattinson’s upcoming film. The pop-up space featured merch for The Drama along with cardboard cutouts of the two stars standing across from each other — one dressed in a wedding gown and the other in a suit.
