Elizabeth Taylor was married eight times to seven different husbands. She and Richard first met and fell in love on the set of Cleopatra in 1963, when they were both married to other people, but they divorced their respective spouses and married in 1964. The couple was married for 10 years before divorcing in 1974; however, they reconciled and remarried in 1975, with their second marriage lasting just one year before they parted ways for good.

Pamela Anderson first married professional poker player Rick Salomon in October 2007, but they had the marriage annulled two months later. They remarried in 2014 after rekindling their romance the year prior,  but Pamela filed for divorce in February 2015, and later said their marriage was always destined to fail.

“It’s like when you put something back in the fridge that’s not good,” Pamela told Ellen DeGeneres. “It’s not gonna be good the second time. When you go in there, I mean. You go, ‘Oh that’s bad. Let me try that again!'”

Melanie Griffith was just 14 when she met Don Johnson, who was 22 at the time. The couple got engaged on her 18th birthday and married in 1976 but divorced six months later. It was 13 years later that the couple tied the knot for a second time, remarrying in an intimate ceremony at their ranch in Aspen in June 1989. They lasted until March 1994, when Melanie filed for divorce again.

She went on to marry Brian Blosil the following year, and they stayed married for over 20 years until 2007. Despite saying she “never wanted to be married again,” Marie and Steve reconnected in 2011 and tied the knot again, and have been together ever since.

Paul Hogan met Noelene when he was just a teenager, marrying her in 1958. They divorced in 1981 before tying the knot again the following year. They called it quits for good in 1989, and Paul went on to marry his Crocodile Dundee co-star, Linda Kozlowski, a year later.
