Amy Schumer was glowing on a Mediterranean vacation with her son and close friends, while showcasing her incredible weight loss transformation in a sizzling red swimsuit. The 44-year-old wowed in the red number, as she stood atop a paddleboard in pristine blue waters, with her athletic figure on full display.
Amy’s social media post also included snaps of her soaking up the sun on a boat, cuddling up to her son, Gene, and dressing up for a glamorous night in a blush pink silk gown. The comedienne’s friends and fans went wild for the look, with one commenting: “We love you Amy! You look fab and happy!!!” while another added: “Beautiful,” and a third shared: “Might become my screensaver!”
Amy appeared in good spirits in the pictures, just months after she announced her split from her husband of seven years, Chris Fischer, on social media. “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” she wrote.
“We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”
“Blah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag a basket, and not because he’s a hot James Beard Award-winning chef who can still pull some hot tail. Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever,” she concluded.
Amid her separation from Chris, Amy has been on a health journey that has seen her lose over 50 lbs and eliminate her Cushing syndrome. The blonde beauty developed the hormonal disorder around 2024 and was prompted to see a doctor after facing a wave of online hate.
“So I got these steroid injections, and so it gave me this thing called Cushing syndrome – which I wouldn’t have known if the internet hadn’t come for me so hard,” she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

“I learned I had this condition, and that I had something called moon face, and I’m starring in a movie – and there’s a camera right in my face, and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God.’ I was feeling really down on myself before I started filming this movie.”
The syndrome is caused by excess cortisol in the body, and can lead to weight gain, skin issues, diabetes and high blood pressure. Amy’s weight loss journey led her to GLP-1 medications, including Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro. The medications work to suppress appetite, slow digestion and control blood sugar.
Her experience with Wegovy was less than ideal, as it made her constantly vomit. She also lost all her energy while taking Ozempic, and could barely get out of bed to play with her son on some days. “I lost 30 pounds so quick. I looked great, and I couldn’t lift my head off the pillow, so what’s the point?” she said on The Howard Stern Show.
Her doctors settled on Mounjaro and hormone replacement therapy for her perimenopause. “My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy…So that’s been great, and Mounjaro’s been great,” she said in a social media video.
“And look, it’s not covered by insurance unless you have diabetes or like severe obesity, which most of the internet thinks I have,” she quipped. “But I’m having a really good experience with it, and I wanted to keep it real with you about that.”
