Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson have been enjoying their engagement. The pair is in the midst of wedding planning, with a new report claiming that they could be getting married in a unique location: the White House.
The couple has no lack of possible venues, with many members of the Trump family marrying in Mar-a-Lago. According to PEOPLE, a political source shared that the couple is considering the White House as a possible venue.
“This would set them up for future political roles, whether Don Jr. goes after the presidency or something else,” said the source. “This is a consideration.”
The pair revealed their engagement in December at the White House, setting an interesting precedent. “I’m not usually at a loss for words, because I’m usually doing the ranting and raving really well,” said Don Jr. in a press conference. “I want to thank Bettina for that one word: ‘Yes.'”
© SAUL LOEBWhile having the White House as the venue for a wedding sounds unique, the most recent example of a wedding taking place in the building’s storied halls took place recently, in 2022, when Naomi Biden, President Joe Biden’s granddaughter, married Peter Neal on the South Lawn.
If Trump Jr. were to get married in the White House, it would be the first time since 1971 that a President’s child got married in the location. That year, Richard Nixon‘s daughter Tricia got married to Edward Finch Cox in the Rose Garden.

“I think they’re very well suited for each other,” said a source. “I think she’s really a great example for him and a great role model. I mean, she fits in perfectly with that whole group.”
Over the past year, Anderson has been a mainstay at numerous notorious political events, accompanying Don Jr. In the past, he was married once to Vanessa Trump, with the couple remaining together for 12 years. They share five children, including Kai Trump. Vanessa is now dating Tiger Woods.
