A new celebrity couple may be emerging in Europe. Ester Expósito and Kylian Mbappé reportedly spent a weekend together in Paris before returning to Madrid on a private jet.
Rumors began circulating the pair last week, after eyewitness accounts and social media suggested that the two were seen together in Paris. They were later photographed arriving in Madrid after what appeared to be a quick getaway.
While neither star has confirmed the nature of their relationship, multiple Spanish outlets report that the actress and the footballer were spotted together on several outings during their days in Paris. According to reports cited by La Vanguardia, the two shared dinner at a restaurant with views of the Eiffel Tower before heading out for a night at one of the city’s clubs. Witnesses claimed the pair appeared “very close.”
Their attempts to remain discreet only seemed to fuel further speculation. At one point, the pair was reportedly seen arriving separately at the luxury Le Royal Monceau hotel. Expósito entered first, covering part of her face while accompanied by a friend. Moments later, Mbappé walked into the same hotel.
© CBO/The Grosby GroupPhotographers later captured the pair leaving the property in the same SUV. Expósito was already inside the vehicle, and when Mbappé got in, the open door briefly revealed that the actress was waiting for him inside.
Although their romantic status remains unconfirmed, both celebrities were in Paris for separate reasons. Expósito was reportedly the only Spanish guest invited to the exclusive Grand Dîner held at the Louvre Museum to celebrate the start of Paris Fashion Week.
Mbappé had traveled to France to receive treatment for a sprain in his left knee that has kept him sidelined since February 21.
A possible earlier date in Madrid
According to Spanish media, the Paris trip may not have been their first meeting. Reports from El Mundo suggest the pair had already spent time together weeks earlier in Madrid.
The rumored outing allegedly took place on February 16, just after Valentine’s Day, when they were seen having dinner at Tatel Madrid. The two reportedly chose one of the restaurant’s private dining rooms to keep the evening low-key and away from public attention.

Both Expósito and Mbappé are known for being discreet about their personal lives.
The Élite star’s most recent public relationship was with Uruguayan actor Nico Furtado, whom she dated for about two years before they reportedly split in 2023. Since then, the actress has been linked to several high-profile names, including her former Élite co-star Miguel Bernardeau and Brazilian soccer player Vinícius Júnior, though none of those rumors were confirmed.
In the case of Mbappé, he’s often spoken publicly about his close bond with his family, particularly his father and younger brother, Ethan, as well as his nephews.
Over the years, he has been linked to model Stella Maxwell and Monaco royal Camille Gottlieb, the daughter of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. Neither connection was ever confirmed as a romantic relationship.
