Barron Trump is following in his family’s footsteps. The 20-year-old son of Donald and Melania Trump is launching his first business venture, jumping into the beverage industry.
Barron is listed as SOLLOS Yerba Mate‘s director, with the brand announcing its first two flavors. Based in Palm Beach, Florida, the brand makes yerba mate, a drink known in Latin America for its bitter and herbal flavors. It’s primarily consumed in countries like Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Southern Brazil, providing an injection of caffeine and some relaxation for drinkers, while also serving as a communal activity. Due to the presence of many Latin Americans in the US, the drink has become increasingly popular, with many claiming that it has the benefits of coffee without the energy crash.
In a post shared on LinkedIn, the brand announced two new flavors available in May. “Pineapple + Coconut.” The teas will come in 12 packs, with the post showing the teas atop some surfboards in the ocean.

“Growing up in South Florida, our lifestyle was shaped by the opportunity to spend time outdoors year-round. That experience led us to create SOLLOS, a beverage designed to complement life in the ‘Sunshine State,'” explained a previous post from the brand. It revealed that the name comes from the Spanish word “sol,” meaning sun.
According to reporting from PEOPLE, Barron spent much of his last summer developing a business plan for his first public endeavor. “Barron has been actively working on his own financial interests and has spent time with others who he is involved with in that area,” reported a source.

According to the outlet, Barron has played a key part in the Trump family’s involvement in different cryptocurrency ventures. A Forbes report claims that Barron is already worth $150 million even though he’s yet to graduate from NYU, where he’s pursuing a degree from the Stern School of Business.
