There are some mixed feelings about Argentina’s qualification for the World Cup, but there are many celebrating the country’s success with pride. One of those is Camilla Morone.
The Argentine-American actress has been loyal to her roots, sharing photos of her wearing the kit since the tournament began. After their win on July 15, Morrone shared a carousel of photos and videos, with the first being a clip of her crying tears of happiness with the team’s win.
“IT’S AN INCREDIBLE FEELING!!!!! ” she captioned the gallery in Spanish. “Didn’t I tell you?!!!! SEE YOU IN THE FINAL.” “NEW YORK STREETS FILLED WITH PRIDE!!!!”
The World Cup has come with a string of emotions, conspiracies, and viral social media memes about Argentina. It was evident in her comments, which were all filled with hate for the qualifying country. “If winning is by cheating, we don’t want it,” “Girl, we all know, in reality Argentina wouldn’t win” and “Ew” read the top-liked comments.
But in the midst of negativity were plenty of positive comments from fans who shared Argentina’s flag, or one user who wrote, “Messi’s legacy is already written in football history as the one true ultimate GOAT. No amount of ‘FIFA princess,’ ‘rigged,’ or ‘robbed’ comments will change that.”

But just when it seemed their title defense was slipping away, Enzo Fernández delivered a stunning equalizer from outside the box in the 85th minute, setting the stage for another epic showdown.
In stoppage time, Lionel Messi floated a perfectly placed cross to Lautaro Martínez, who buried the header to complete a dramatic 2-1 comeback.
