Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are racing toward the altar, with sources telling Page Six the couple are planning to say “I do” within the next few months.
We hear the nuptials were, perhaps not surprisingly, the talk of Anderson’s bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago last weekend.
“Invitations have not gone out, but they are preparing things now,” a source said.
While the pair were originally eyeing the White House for the ceremony, it is now “extremely unlikely” it will take place at the D.C. landmark, says a source.
Anderson’s “Enchanted Garden”-themed bridal shower luncheon drew 85 guests including Ivanka Trump, Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Marla Maples. Don Jr.’s daughter with Vanessa Trump, Kai, also stopped by, says a spy.
Other guests included Daphne Oz, Dina Powell McCormick, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Andrea Wynn, and Brett Baier’s wife Amy.
We hear Vice President JD Vance’s wife Usha sent her regrets.
The event, which took place in the main ballroom, was hosted by Palm Beach socialites Yaz Hernandez, Amy Phelan, and Audrey Gruss.
Don. Jr showed up with a bouquet of roses and gave a toast.
“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Bettina,” he said, according to one guest. “She is smart, loving, and caring.”
We’re told Anderson was “teary” during the event, thanking people for coming.
Also there were Janet Gretzky, and financier John Paulson’s fiance Alina de Almeida.
Guests left with monogrammed gift bags that included skin care, a cashmere sweater and an umbrella.
We’re told no one brought gifts — “too much to carry” said our source — but we hear Anderson is registered at Palm Beach shop Mary Mahoney.
Page Six exclusively revealed in December that Trump, Jr. and Anderson — whose parents are philanthropists Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson — were engaged after a year of dating.
Sources told us that the businessman popped the question at Camp David on Dec.13, during a trip for Anderson’s birthday.
Trump Jr. and Anderson began their relationship last year, just as his engagement to former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle came to an end. Guilfoyle was named Ambassador to Greece the day photos of the new pair hit the headlines.
Trump Jr. was previously wed to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018.
This is Anderson’s first marriage. She was previously engaged to chewing gum heir Beau Wrigley.
