Dylan Efron takes his health very seriously. The Traitors star, who boasts a six pack, opened up to HELLO! about the intense wellness routine he maintains for his risk-taking job.
“Since I was a kid I’ve been taking supplements. I probably take 20 pills a day, [like] the multi, probiotics, zinc,” Dylan, 34, told HELLO!. He recently started working with Garden of Life vitamin and wellness company, to introduce its latest innovation, Clear Whey Protein.
“For me, it’s really 50/50 nutrition and physical activity. Every day I’m trying to get some sort of physical activity, whether that’s playing a sport or an hour or two at the gym. That’s one of the most important things to me,” he explained, adding: “I’m trying to eat as much protein as I can. It’s a mix of diet, nutrition, and working out, and it leaves me balanced. I’m never going to be the strongest person ever, but I’m going to be ready for anything. That’s where I want to be.”
What is Dylan Efron up to now?
Until January 2025, Dylan was widely known as Zac Efron’s little brother. But, after starring, and winning, in the third season of The Traitors, he’s made a name for himself. These days, he’s everywhere.
Dylan is creating immersive travel content and itineraries, partnering with his Traitors co-star Boston Rob on the YouTube series Everything’s a Competition, and enjoying all that the spotlight has to offer. Ever the risk taker, he spoke to HELLO! after a risky trip to the “Ends of the Earth” in Norway, and just before, he traveled to Canada.
“When we were in Newfoundland, we were out at sunrise at a lighthouse with 100 mile-per-hour winds, it was blowing us over,” Dylan shared. “That’s not something I’m doing when I’m home chilling.”
Dylan’s famous family
Aside from his big brother, who he assured us he is “not competitive with,” Dylan is close with his other siblings too. While performing on Dancing with the Stars, fans got an inside look into his relationship with his little sister Olivia and brother Henry.
The rambunctious six-year-old is the half-sister of Zac and Dylan and according to the reality star, she is just like Zac.
“It’s so special,” Dylan told HELLO! about what it meant to have his sister show up for him at DWTS. “When Olivia looks at me, you can just feel the love, and that’s really meaningful to feel. And it goes back to her too.”
He continued: “I remember right before Dancing with the Stars, she wouldn’t even hold a mic at one of her piano recitals. She was afraid to announce her name, and her mom had to walk around and announce her before she’d play. Now she is the most confident girl in the world. I’m like, ‘All right, settle down, we’ve got another Zac on our hands.’ She’s so confident now, and I think it’s so special to be a small part of that journey of her finding her voice.”
As for his little brother, Dylan said that he sees a bit more of himself in Henry.
“Honestly, if Olivia is Zac, Henry is me,” he joked. “But my dad, every time he [talks to] Henry, he says Dylan, because he’s literally the spitting image of me as a kid.”
Dylan also opened up about his big-brother dreams as looks to the future. “As I get older, I’m looking forward to taking them on trips, teaching them things. In five years I want to be able to travel with them and teach them how to do things like that.”
