Former Bond girl Kim Basinger shared a stunning throwback with fans over the weekend, as she reminisced about a Flaunt photoshoot she did with the magazine in 2014. The 72-year-old looked unrecognizable in the photos, which saw her posing in tailored clothes while walking out in the desert, with her iconic blonde locks flowing freely down her back.
“Felt like getting away for the weekend, so I hitched all the way into a past memory across the hot desert where I could hear wedding bells clearly ringing…as they lured me in,” she wrote in the caption. “The shoot was called…NOBODY…Truly magical experience… Wherever you are or wherever you find yourself this weekend…Make it a good one.”
Friends and fans alike took to the comment section to share the love, with one writing: “Oh doll, you look stunning!” while another added: “Gorgeous goddess.”
A third chimed in: “You are so beautiful, a true muse in fashion and film,” while another said: “You look absolutely stunning!!!!” Hilaria Baldwin, the wife of actor Alec Baldwin, shared a series of fire emojis in support, indicating her close bond with Kim.
Kim was married to Alex from 1993 to 2002, and they welcomed a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, in 1995 before their messy divorce hit the press. What followed was a public custody battle over Ireland, followed by several years of silence between the pair.
Thankfully, they now share a warm co-parenting relationship, as Kim told Variety in 2025. “Alec and I have a great relationship. I have great respect for where he is today and his family,” she said.
“We don’t spend Christmases and holidays or see each other very much. But we talk,” she continued. “He’ll pick up the phone and call me, and we have a very genuinely cordial and, I think, loving relationship in a lot of ways, just because we share a daughter and I don’t wish him anything but everything good.”

Kim, who starred in Never Say Never Again with Sean Connery in 1983, largely disappeared from Hollywood for several years, as she suffered from intense agoraphobia and couldn’t leave her home. She recalled on Red Table Talk that her lifelong anxiety manifested into something much deeper, seemingly out of nowhere.
“It was my neighborhood store. I was going down aisle number three. My basket was almost full, and I found something really overcoming me in such a way that I couldn’t breathe,” she explained. “So I left the basket, and I made it to my car, and that was the last time I drove for almost six, seven months.”
“It’s like something just completely shuts down within you, and you have to relearn everything,” she continued, adding that she “wouldn’t leave the house”.
“You live with a dry mouth all the time, you’re very shaky, you’re just so exhausted all the time.” The Oscar winner had to learn how to drive again, and shared that everything became a “big job to figure out how to do it”.
Thankfully, Ireland was able to help her come out of her shell and support her during her health battle.
