Joaquim Valente was spotted embracing fatherhood as he spent quality time with his and Gisele Bündchen‘s young son while the supermodel headed off to work.
The couple, who have been keeping much of their family life out of the spotlight, offered a rare glimpse into their day-to-day routine during a stay at the iconic Copacabana Hotel in Rio de Janeiro.
While Bündchen departed the hotel by helicopter for a professional modeling engagement, Valente remained behind, taking on daddy duty and caring for their baby son.
Gisele Bündchen Leaves for Work by Helicopter
Bündchen looked focused as she departed the Copacabana Hotel to fulfill a modeling commitment. Traveling by helicopter allowed the longtime fashion icon to quickly reach her destination before returning to her family later in the day.
Even after decades at the top of the fashion industry, Bündchen continues to be one of the world’s most sought-after models. She regularly juggles photo shoots, campaigns, and business ventures while also dedicating time to her personal life.
As Bündchen attended her work engagement, Valente stayed at the hotel with their infant son, enjoying a relaxed day together away from the cameras.
Balancing Career and Parenthood
For Bündchen, balancing an internationally recognized modeling career with motherhood remains an important part of her life.
The Brazilian supermodel has frequently spoken over the years about putting family first, even as she continues to accept select professional opportunities. Her schedule now appears carefully designed to allow room for both work and parenting.
Many modern families share similar arrangements, alternating childcare responsibilities depending on work schedules.

In photos shared earlier this week, Bündchen and Valente were photographed in Rio de Janeiro getting their workout in. Bündchen wore a matching green sports bra and tights, and Valente wore green sports shorts, sneakers, a black T-shirt.
Bündchen and Valente met through her children. He was her son’s jiu-jitsu teacher. He then began teaching Bündchen. “Initially, I wasn’t even considering it for myself,” she said in an interview with Dust Magazine. “But when I brought [her son] to the first class and started talking to Joaquim, I realized that it was much more than self-defense.”
Bündchen added: “It felt very much in line with what I believe in and look for in my life, and how I have a path to develop and become the best version of myself.”
Earlier this month, Bündchen celebrated her birthday in Tahiti: “Thank you all for the love and birthday wishes.”
“I feel so grateful for this new cycle that’s beginning and for all the adventures that lie ahead. May the love and kindness you share return to each of you a thousandfold,” she captioned a post she shared on Instagram.
