Gracie Abrams has raised eyebrows among Swifties after sharing a photo of Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, after attending the singer’s wedding to Travis Kelce.
The “That’s So True” singer, 26, was pictured leaving Taylor and Travis’ Madison Square Garden nuptials in the early hours of Saturday morning and later shared a carousel of seemingly random photos on Instagram, leading with a pic of her wedding outfit.
Gracie, who opened up for Taylor on The Eras Tour in 2023 and 2024, looked beautiful in her red sequin gown, which she also shared a close-up of while seated in the backseat of a car while on her way to MSG, but it was the photo of Joe that ruffled Swifties’ feathers.
Among the photos of her sparkling beaded cowl-neck dress and various album covers, Gracie posted a still of Joe and Emma Stone – one of Taylor’s BFFs who also attended her wedding – from the 2018 film, The Favourite.
The scene depicts Joe’s character, Samuel Masham, tackling Emma’s character, Abigail Hill, in the woods, and while you can’t see his face, the still was quickly identified by Taylor’s fans, who were baffled by its inclusion in the post.
“I’m sorry are you for real? Including a photo of Joe in the same photo dump as Taylor’s wedding? Couldn’t you at least congratulate Taylor and Travis on the post?” one disgruntled follower asked.
“Not congratulating Taylor – but posting her ex?” another queried. A third added: “The screen capture of Joe Alwyn from The Favourite in the same carousel as the outfit you wore to Taylor Swift’s wedding is crazyyyyy.”
Another fan claimed they were immediately unfollowing Gracie, commenting: “I’ve never unfollowed faster. Not only is that one slide just weird to include when your first slide is her wedding day…. But not a single congrats or ‘TnT’ or basically anything to acknowledge it as her day is just kinda weird as well.”
Several of Gracie’s fans jumped to her defence and encouraged Taylor’s fans to “touch grass.”
Taylor and Joe dated for over six years, splitting in 2023, which at the time, seemingly came out of nowhere.
He was recently pictured kissing Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette star, Sarah Pigeon, 29, in a park, while Taylor, of course, moved on and married Travis on July 3, 2026.
Their marriage was confirmed on Friday evening, and to pay tribute to the couple, MSG’s famous façade was illuminated with bright pink “JUST&T MARRIED!” signs.
Adam Sandler officiated the wedding, and the couple opted against a traditional bridal party. Instead, the bride’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, while the groom’s brother, Jason Kelce, was his Best Man.
Taylor’s publicist confirmed details about her and Travis’ wedding attire after they said ‘I do,’ but official photos have yet to be shared.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture,” Tree Paine confirmed in a release, obtained by HELLO!
“They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom.”
It added: “This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity.”
Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.
