Hailey Bieber is petrified of her son Jack Blues growing up in a “bleak” world. The 29-year-old mode recently admitted to experiencing crippling anxiety when pondering the state of society, noting that she worried deeply about her son’s future.
Hailey told Interview magazine, “That’s probably the most anxiety I have as a parent. The world he’s growing up in is very, very scary and it feels so bleak, thinking about the future, with how things are going. But I just have to close my eyes and have faith.”
The Rhode skincare founder explained that to curb those anxious thoughts, she reminded herself that she and husband Justin Bieber are raising the 19-month-old tot in a loving, beautiful home environment that’s really loving and beautiful. “That’s all that I can hope for,” she added.
On the joys of motherhood and expanding her family
Despite her worries about the future, she thoroughly relished the everyday aspects of parenthood. She said, “Just seeing this little human evolve before your eyes. They grow so fast and they change so much and there’s always so much excitement. You’re watching them experience life for the first time, so you kind of feel like you’re experiencing it that way with them.”
The experience left her keen on expanding her family. She shared that she definitely wanted more than one child, though she was taking it one step at a time. “I definitely want more than one, but I’m taking it one at a time. Some days I want two. Some days I want five,” she confessed.

Becoming a mother also significantly shifted her lifestyle. In a November 2025 profile with GQ magazine, she opened up about how motherhood changed her. “A typical day at home for me is I get up with my son, hit a workout as much as I can. I’ve become a lot more of a homebody than I used to be. And I think when you have a child, that happens, at least it did for me. It definitely made me have so much less FOMO.”
Adding, “I just love to spend time with my son. He’s growing so fast, and it’s gone by so fast, and it starts to become more and more real how much you want to soak up that time.” Plus, “sharing responsibilities” is also a priority for Hailey and Justin – who got married in a New York City courthouse in 2018, and splashed out a reported $500,000 on a lavish second wedding at the five-star Montage Palmetto Bluff hotel, South Carolina, in 2019.

She continued, “I’m here working, and my son is at home with his dad, living his best life. Having that support is very freeing and makes the decision a little bit easier.”
