Halle Berry has opened up about rediscovering her sexuality while navigating menopause. The 59-year-old appeared on the July 15 episode of podcast Making Space with Hoda Kotb, where she discussed her collaboration with JoyLux – a brand offering women’s intimate care products.
“Down that path of life, perimenopause, everything gets dry, like I said, and so intimacy and sex can become painful,” Halle shared, “And so many divorces happen around this time of life because women become unable and unwilling to have sex because it’s so painful.”
Halle admitted that her “biggest problem: during perimenopause was concerns that she “could not have sex anymore”. However, this worry has since changed. “I am juicy like a peach. My sex life is back batting 100,” she said.

Back in February, Halle announced her engagement to her longtime partner, Van Hunt. Halle and Van confirmed they were officially dating on 12 September 2020 and made their red carpet-debut at the Oscars on 25 April 2021.
Prior to her romance with the record producer, the actress was previously married three times: to David Justice from 1993 to 1997, to Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005 and to Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016.

The actress previously revealed that she had fallen “madly in love” Van before they became intimate. “That has never happened to me, ever,” she told Marie Claire. “Talk about one of those life-changing, beautiful experiences. It was magical, just magical.”
