Enrique Iglesias has plenty to celebrate. The Spanish icon is turning 51, and is celebrating the occasion exactly how he wants to — quietly and surrounded by the people he loves the most. Despite having one of the most storied careers in Latin music, Iglesias has opted for privacy when it comes to his personal life, taking a measured distance from the spotlight. Sharing four kids with former tennis star Anna Kournikova, Iglesias made a thought-out choice when he decided to put down roots in Indian Creek, one of Miami’s most closely guarded addresses.
Welcome to Indian Creek
Also known as “the billionaires’ bunker,” Indian Creek is among the most exclusive residential enclaves on the planet. Tucked in the shores of Biscayne Bay in Miami, the only way to reach the island is through a two-lane bridge with restricted access, monitored around the clock by security personnel.
The neighborhood is made up of 30 mansions, each valued at around $28 million, hosting a total of 84 residents. Some of the amenities include a country club within a colonial mansion designed by the architect Maurice Fatio, and an 18-hole private golf course designed by William F. Flynn.
Inside Enrique and Ana’s mansion
Iglesias has shared very little of his home’s interior with the world. Based on the property’s location and size, estimates put the mansion at close to 2,000 square meters and valued at around $26 million.
The home reportedly hosts seven bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, a living room, a high-end kitchen with a wine cellar, a game room, and a private gym. The aesthetic leans into neutral tones and modern architecture. Outside, the setting is even more spectacular, with an infinity pool, a sun terrace, a jacuzzi, a tennis court, and plenty of garden spaces.
And then there’s the water. Iglesias’ love of the ocean is well documented, so it’s no surprise that the property includes its private dock with direct water access — the perfect launching point for days out spent aboard the family boat.
The neighbors
Indian Creek is home to some of the most notorious people in the world. Last month, Mark Zuckerberg joined the roster, acquiring a property on the island for a reported $180 million. Other figures include Iglesias’ own father, Julio Iglesias, Jeff Bezos, who has purchased several properties over the past few years; the first purchased for around $72 million in 2023, a second one for $83 million, and a third valued at around $95 million.
The list of neighbors goes on: Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Tom Brady, Jaime Gilinski Bacal, Adriana Lima, David Guetta, and more. In a neighborhood like that, Enrique Iglesias might be the quietest neighbor.
