Following the success of the first-ever Celebrity Traitors, which saw Alan Carr break down in tears after deceiving his co-stars David Olusoga and Nick Mohammed, the BBC series is back with a ridiculously star-studded line-up.

The beloved show, where Faithfuls and Traitors compete to win a cash prize, will be hosted by Claudia Winkleman once again and will feature television returns, game show debuts and a whole lot of star power.

Similar to last season, in the upcoming instalment, 21 stars will head to the infamous Scottish castle in the Highlands and battle it out for the chance to win up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

While the cast has changed, the rules remain the same: Faithfuls are tasked with trying to seek out the murderous Traitors among them, who are actively killing off players in the middle of the night.

After much anticipation, the BBC revealed their celebrity line-up for the spin-off series that brought in an average audience of 14.9 million people during its previous run, the biggest TV audience of 2025.

Leading the charge, Miranda Hart will return to the BBC, more than 10 years after the final episode of her sitcom, Miranda, aired.

She will face off with legendary actor Richard E Grant, model and Rupert Murdoch’s ex-wife, Jerry Hall, and singer James Blunt.

Love Island host Maya Jama has also signed on to have a go at playing the iconic game, as have Good Omens star Michael Sheen and comedian Joanne McNally.

Other comedians following in Joanne’s footsteps include James Acaster, Joe Lycett, Romesh Ranganathan, and Rob Beckett.

Industry star Myha’la Herrold and The Last of Us‘s Bella Ramsay will also travel to Scotland, as will EastEnders’ Ross Kemp and former Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Rounding up the stellar cast, Coronation Street‘s Julie Hesmondhalgh, broadcaster Amol Rajan, Scottish actress Sharon Rooney, broadcaster and mathematician Professor Hannah Fry, content creator King Kenny and actor Sebastian Croft were all revealed as contestants on the show.

The first celebrity spin-off of the global game show aired on the BBC last autumn and saw the likes of Celia Imrie, Nick Mohammed, Paloma Faith, Sir Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, and Cat Burns sit around the round table.

The news was officially shared in a video by the broadcaster, who lined up chauffeurs at the airport, all of whom were holding chalkboards with the celebrities’ names scrawled across them.

In the background, Claudia’s voice boomed over the tannoy and revealed that the series would be returning later this autumn.

Some of the contestants shared their exciting news on their Instagram Stories, reposting the video with messages like, “Secrets out, wish me luck,” from Maya Jama and “Oh [expletive]” from Joe Lycett.
