2026 has been filled with headlines about death. This week, it was revealed that London influencer and reality TV personality Jordan James Parke, known online as the self‑proclaimed “Lip King,” has died at the age of 34. Two people have since been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
The British influencer was found unresponsive on Lincoln Plaza in Canary Wharf on Wednesday, February 18, and was later pronounced dead at the scene, the Metropolitan Police said.
Right now, his death is being treated as “unexplained,” and “an investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing.” “It is suggested that the victim may have underwent a cosmetic procedure prior to his death, the cause of which is unknown,” police said.
Two people, a 43‑year‑old man and a 52‑year‑old woman, were arrested on February 20 on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the case and have since been released on bail while the investigation continues. At this time, authorities are awaiting the results of a post‑mortem examination that will help clarify the circumstances surrounding his death.
Parke rose to prominence for his cosmetic procedures totalling over $150,000, which included over 50 lip fillers, chin fillers, and what appears to be some kind of BBL.
He appeared twice on E!’s Botched after becoming “obsessed” and made other TV appearances, which earned him fans and critics alike. “I want just a little bit of definition, and they just got bigger and bigger,” Parke said, per E! News. “Any attention is good attention.”
His plastic surgery story wasn’t without controversy. In 2024, Parke was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of Alice Webb, a 33‑year‑old mother of five who became unwell after a non‑surgical Brazilian butt lift (or “liquid BBL” performed at a clinic he ran with Jemma Pawlyszyn, in Gloucester, per the Daily Mail.
Ironically enough, he was never charged, but he was due to answer bail in March 2026 when he died, per ITV News.
Following the news of his death, Webb’s sister April told ITV, “This brings mixed emotions, as it inevitably reminds us of the deeply painful loss of Alice.”
“While we will never see him face trial, our fight for justice for Alice continues,” they said. “We remain committed to campaigning for stricter regulations to prevent tragedies like Alice’s.”
In a tribute on Instagram, Parke’s sister, Sharnelle, shared her heartbreak,“We as a family are numb, shocked, and heartbroken. … Jordan, I have no words to explain the sadness and heartbreak that we are feeling — you were our best friend … our WHOLE WORLD … our everything! … The world feels so empty without you.”
