The Trump family has become regular guests at UFC fights. One of the most notorious examples of this was the UFC Freedom 250 event, celebrating Donald Trump’s birthday and the country’s 250th anniversary. In a vlog shared by Kai Trump, she showed some of her experience at the exclusive event, including appearances by other members of the Trump family.
A brief second left viewers speculating about one of the most mysterious figures in the family, Barron Trump, and his relationship to his niece, Kai.
Despite the familial relationship, Barron and Kai are contemporaries. He’s 20, and she’s 19, and while they’re rarely photographed together, they likely spend time together at important events and family celebrations.
Kai shared a vlog earlier this week, recapping her experience at the UFC 250, hosted on June 14. The clip lasts almost 20 minutes, yet viewers zoomed in on Barron’s brief appearance. In that section of the video. Kai introduces viewers to her aunt, Tiffany Trump, with Barron appearing in the background without being introduced or acknowledging the camera.
Some people took his behavior as a snub or as evidence that there’s a rift between him and Kai. Others were simply surprised by his appearance. “Too bad she didn’t get him to say hi!” wrote a viewer.
“She probably asked,” replied a second person. “But he said no and they didn’t include it in the video. Respect for him trying to live a private life, without the fame.”
Uncle B
Despite the theories of a rift between the family members, Kai may have provided an answer in a previous interview.
In an appearance on the Impaulsive podcast earlier this year, Kai discussed her life and her notorious family. She also talked about Barron, sharing some details about him and the fact that they’re close in age yet are still uncle and niece. “Barron’s my uncle, we’re only like a year apart,” she said.
The podcast hosts asked more questions about “Uncle B,” especially since so many people wonder about him and his private nature. “He’s a great guy. He doesn’t really like the public eye so much, which I understand,” she continued. “He’s a great guy. He’s at NYU at the business school, and he’s living his life in college.”
It’s more likely that Barron prefers to opt out of the public eye and that there’s no real rift between himself and his niece.
