Kate Middleton just rewore 4-inch heels she’s had for 10 years

Peter Phillips’ wedding may have been four days ago, but images from the beautiful day are forever etched in our minds. Harriet Sperling’s Emilia Wickstead wedding dress was a glorious fashion triumph, as was the Princess of Wales’ resplendent ensemble.

Widely considered the best-dressed guest, the 44-year-old stole the show in her nude-coloured Roland Mouret tweed number topped with an elegant Jane Taylor hat.

Accessorising to perfection, Kate donned a beautiful pair of shoes by one of her favourite footwear brands, Rupert Sanderson. And what’s more, the heels are ten years old.

The brand took to Instagram to confirm the fact that Kate had worn their heels for so long, penning: “HRH The Princess of Wales, spotted wearing our classic Malory pumps last week, having owned and worn this particular pair for over 10 years.” 

A representative for the brand added: “It is what makes Rupert Sanderson proud as a shoemaker to create something perfectly poised that endures, both in its craftsmanship and its styling. We continue to make the Malory pump as both a stock and made-to-order style – a timeless design, perfect for weddings and special occasions.”

Kate’s heels secret

In 2022, the famed shoe designer revealed to the MailOnline that the secret to Kate’s streamlined stance is his four-inch shoes.

He remarked that the royal “uses a stiletto heel as part of her sartorial arsenal in transforming herself from a busy mother into one of the world’s most photographed women.”

The designer added: “She’s tall, but in heels she becomes commanding, often standing a head above the men in the room.”
