Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’s romance in photos: from Parisian hard launch to Bieberchella

The first public sighting of the duo together was when they were spotted enjoying a walk in Montreal’s Mount Royal Park with Katy’s dog on July 28, 2025, and then they enjoyed an intimate dinner together that night.

Just two days later, Justin attended Katy’s concert in the same city and had a blast singing along to the lyrics of “Firework.”

On October 11, the duo were spotted displaying PDA as they enjoyed a relaxing yacht trip sailing around Santa Barbara.

Only three days after the pictures of the two kissing came out, Katy seemingly confirmed the rumors during her concert.

A fan held up a “marry me” sign and Katy joked: “You heard I was single? That’s interesting. You know you really should have asked me about 48 hours ago.”

During the concert she also revealed: “London, England, you’re like this on a Monday night after a whole day at work and a whole day at school? No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time … but not anymore.”

On October 25, the pair finally confirmed their rumored relationship, when they were spotted holding hands while leaving Crazy Horse Paris, as the two celebrated Katy’s 41st birthday.

For Halloween, Justin dressed up as an inflatable shark, which comically referenced the singer’s Super Bowl 49 performance, during which two dancers on stage were dressed up as the sea creature.

His son also joined in on the fun, as he captioned the post: “Ready for Halloween with Hadrien: he’s the surfer, I’m the shark (to his left). We built the costume together — a little father-son Halloween teamwork.”

About two weeks later on December 4, the pair hard launched their budding relationship online.

Justin shared a picture on social media of himself alongside Katy and the former Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, and his wife.

He captioned the post: “Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko.”

Fumio shared on social media: “Former Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau came to Japan with his partner, Katy Perry, and had lunch with us.”

The duo enjoyed their first holidays together and on January 7, Katy shared a carousel to recap their seasonal festivities.

The pictures not only featured shots of the couple spending their time beachside, but it also included a picture of Katy’s ex-partner of almost a decade, Orlando Bloom, going on a nature walk with the couple’s daughter Daisy, five.

Katy and Orlando called it quits in July 2025 after nearly a decade together, including a six-year engagement.

Justin was previously married for 18 years to Sophie Trudeau, with the couple announcing their separation in 2023.

The former couple welcomed their three children Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien into the world together.

Xavier, who is an aspiring musician, is thankful for Katy’s support. He revealed during the Can’t Be Censored podcast: “When I’m really happy with a song, [I] send it [to her]. She’s always happy to give me advice or tell me what I should change.”

He continued: “She’s super nice. She’s super down to earth. She’s great. I think that my dad’s happy, so that’s important.”
