Keith Urban looked surprisingly different as he stepped out at the CMA Fest in Nashville on Thursday, alongside fellow country star Russell Dickerson. The 58-year-old was noticeably weary at the event, with his brunette locks falling flatter than usual and appearing a darker color.
Keith, who arrived in a pair of blue jeans and a black jacket, was likely recovering from his intense touring schedule, with shows booked for Friday and Saturday night at the CMA Fest followed by a performance at the Grand Ole Opry on June 10.
The country crooner’s appearance at the ACM Awards just two weeks prior sparked concern amongst fans, who commented on social media that he appeared “sad”, “anxious”, and “uncomfortable” as he walked the red carpet.
The CMA Fest outing comes amid a tough time for Keith’s family, following his separation from Nicole Kidman in September 2025.
Their divorce was finalized in January, and the court documents stated that Nicole would be the primary residential parent of their two daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, and would care for them for 306 days of the year.
Sunday seemingly took a side in the divorce in April when she suddenly unfollowed her father on Instagram, before quickly following him back. Keith has not been seen with his two daughters since before the split was announced, and Sunday appeared to make a jab at the Grammy winner in an interview with Elle Australia in March.

“There’s always going to be something with an early call time that you don’t want to get up for, but it’s really important to be on time because it shows that you’re prepared and grateful to be there.”
While neither Nicole nor Keith have spoken directly about the divorce, the Babygirl actress told Variety that she hoped to move her family through the major life change. “I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” she said. “What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect.”

© WireImageThe former couple’s divorce documents state that neither party can speak badly of each other or other members of their family in the press or in their personal lives, explaining the pair’s tight-lipped attitude towards the split.
“[They will] encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families,” the documents read. They both waived alimony, child support and spousal support, and Keith was given 59 days or “every other weekend” with the girls.
