Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are spending their summer right — with their children by their side.
On Friday, July 10, the longtime couple celebrated their son Wyatt Russell‘s milestone 40th anniversary while on a family vacation in Prague.
And photos shared by the family made for a rare appearance from Boston Russell, the Overboard actor’s son with ex-wife Season Hubley.
Following Wyatt’s birthday, his wife Meredith Hagner took to Instagram and shared a slew of photos from the family’s travels, first sharing a loved-up photo with Wyatt on a boat, one of the city’s iconic bridges behind them.
Among one of the photos was a snap of Wyatt with his arm around his older half-brother Boston, who leads a private life and has rarely been seen in public, especially in recent years.
Other photos pictured Goldie with her son Oliver Hudson‘s sons, one of his daughter Rio with one of her young cousins hoisted on her hip, plus a video of Goldie and Kurt riding in the back of a vintage car.
“Praha birthday for our guy. I refuse to shut up about how I’ve lived a past life here,” Meredith, who married Wyatt in 2019 and with whom she shares sons Buddy, four, and Boone, two, captioned the post.
The Russell-Hawn blended family includes Boston, Meredith and Wyatt, Oliver and his wife Erinn Bartlett plus their three children, as well as Kate Hudson, her three children, and fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
Kate and Oliver’s dad is Bill Hudson, to whom Goldie was married from 1976 to 1982, and through whom they also have additional half-siblings.
Last year, Meredith gave insight into what Goldie and Kurt, who have been together for over 40 years, are like as grandparents. Speaking with Us Weekly, she said: “Oh they’re the best,” adding: “They’re just, like, the greatest people, greatest grandparents.”
“They live down the road from us, so my son is like — that’s their second home,” she went on, revealing: “They’ll have a cookie jar that’s always full, and my son knows where it is, and they have a toy box that is always brimming with toys.”
And despite their A-List status, the couple are truly mom, “Pa” (as his stepchildren Kate and Oliver call him), grandma and grandpa at heart. Meredith, recalling when she first met them after starting to date their son in 2016, also shared: “The thing that always struck me about meeting them is just how normal they are, like you forget within five seconds [how famous they are].”
