Lauren Sánchez is giving fans a glimpse of a more low-key side of her life.
The former TV personality, 56, marked Father’s Day by sharing a heartfelt tribute to her father, Ray Sánchez, on Instagram. Alongside a carousel of photos celebrating the longtime pilot and businessman, Sanchez included a rare makeup-free snapshot of the two posing together in front of an airplane.
Known for her glamorous style and red carpet-ready looks, Sánchez kept things simple for the sweet family moment. She appeared to go without makeup, wearing her hair pulled back into a relaxed ponytail.
Trading Glamour for a Casual Look
Instead of the figure-hugging dresses and designer ensembles she’s often photographed in, Sánchez opted for a casual outfit consisting of black leggings, a zip-up hoodie, and oversized sunglasses.
Standing beside her father with her arm wrapped around him, Sánchez flashed a huge smile and raised one arm in the air. Ray, 86, looked equally relaxed in blue jeans, a black T-shirt, and a baseball cap.
A Lifelong Bond Built Around Flying
The post also featured several throwback images, including a childhood photo of Sanchez with her dad and a collection of selfies Ray has snapped while flying planes.
“Happy Father’s Day to the man who taught me that the sky isn’t the limit, it’s the beginning,” Lauren wrote in the caption.

Flying has remained a major passion in Sanchez’s life. In previous interviews, she has spoken about how her love of aviation helped spark a connection with husband Jeff Bezos when they first got to know each other.
No Father’s Day Posts for Bezos or Her Children’s Fathers
At this time, Sánchez had not shared a Father’s Day tribute for Bezos, who shares four children with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott.
She also did not post messages for the fathers of her own three children. Sanchez shares son Nikko Gonzalez with former NFL star Tony Gonzalez, and son Evan Whitesell and daughter Ella Whitesell with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell.
A Very Different Look From Her Recent Paris Photos
The relaxed Father’s Day post comes just days after Sánchez shared a much more glamorous update from her travels abroad.
Earlier this week, the children’s author posted a striking black-and-white photo to Instagram for her 1.1 million followers. In the image, she posed against a scenic backdrop wearing a plunging silk halter top with delicate spaghetti straps.
