Celebrities across Latin America are expressing heartbreak and solidarity after Venezuela was struck by two powerful earthquakes that left at least 164 people dead and 971 injured, according to authorities. The disaster unfolded on June 24 when a magnitude 7.1 foreshock was followed just 39 seconds later by a devastating magnitude 7.5 earthquake.

Officials also confirmed at least 30 aftershocks, with La Guaira, near Caracas, suffering the most severe destruction. Rescue efforts remain ongoing as emergency crews search for survivors beneath collapsed buildings, as informed by The Guardian.
