Scott Baio rose to fame when he was only 16 years old, playing Chachi Arcola on the iconic 70s sitcom Happy Days. Since his early years, he’s achieved a stellar career spanning acting, directing and producing, which has resulted in an estimated net worth of $4 million. Scott has now largely retired from the entertainment industry to focus on family and personal life.
Scott Baio’s brother
The star was born in Bay Ridge, New York, and his parents were Italian immigrants. Scott has two siblings, a brother named Steven Baio and a sister named Stephanie Baio. The Happy Days alum isn’t the only member of his family to carve out a career in the spotlight. His brother, Steven Baoi, is also an actor, known for his vast variety of comedy roles.
The pair share a close relationship, with Scott paying tribute to his older brother on X back in 2020. “I’m thankful for my big brother, my only brother. Follow him on here @Fiobaio,” he penned alongside a series of photographs of them.
Steven’s most renowned roles include Race to the Edge (1986), The Hunted (1998), and Very Mean Men (2000). Similarly to his brother, he began his acting career in the sitcom Happy Days, before focusing on film roles through the 80s and early Noughties. He produced films, such as Evil Laugh (1988) and Face to Face (2001).
Steven shares one child named Luca Stefano with his wife Tammy. The star is based in Brooklyn, New York.
The actor’s twin sister, Stephanie Baio, is the director of operations at the House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles.
Family home
In 2010, Scott, his brother Steven and his sister Stephanie, listed the Toluca Lake home where their mother lived for sale at a staggering price of $4,995,000. The 11,000-square-foot house boasted seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a master suite, a 10-car garage, a swimming pool, and a guesthouse.
The siblings’ late father, Mario Baio, purchased the abode in 1994 for $1,305,000. The house was sold due to being too large for their mother, Rose, to live in alone.
