The Duchess of Sussex spent the week crisscrossing Los Angeles for press duties tied to Cookie Queens, the documentary she produces. She used the outings to prove, once again, that her range extends well beyond the screen. In under a day, Meghan pulled off two opposite looks, each a study in a different kind of confidence.
Look one: preppy-cool in oversized white shorts
For one appearance, Meghan leaned into something looser and more playful: relaxed, oversized white shorts paired with a cropped knit sweater for an effortless, honor-roll-chic silhouette.
She finished it with suede tasseled loafers, stacked bracelets on her left wrist, and a delicate diamond-and-emerald necklace by Logan Hollowell.

Princess Leonor followed the trend in a white suit when she swore her oath to the Constitution before Spain’s Congress of Deputies on October 31, 2023, marking her 18th birthday.
Meghan’s version, though, has a twist: it isn’t a suit at all, but two separate pieces from two different labels: a white linen blazer by Akris layered over cream jeans by Tracy James, with the look reading as a tailored set. She rounded it out with a matching basic tee from Anine Bing and brown leather Hermès Santorini sandals, plus that same Logan Hollowell necklace, paired with two rings from the brand.

Both looks were in service of “Cookie Queens,” an American documentary produced by Meghan and Prince Harry, following four Girl Scouts through their annual cookie-selling season. The film examines what the experience teaches about leadership, entrepreneurship, personal growth, and family support.
Meghan has said the project hit close to home: she was a Girl Scout herself as a child, with her mother leading her troop. Her stated goal for the documentary was to spotlight the confidence, resilience, and development that the program fosters in girls.
This week’s Los Angeles stops included a special screening of the film and a Q&A with director Alysa Nahmias. Meghan’s outfits show that she can dress the part for any register, from red-carpet royal to off-duty cool, all without missing a beat.
