British actress Michaela Coel is currently promoting not one but two highly anticipated films, and her wardrobe is proving just as captivating as her on-screen performances.
The 38-year-old takes on the role of an art dealer in The Christophers and a fashion designer in Mother Mary, where she stars alongside Anne Hathaway. So it’s fitting that her press tour style has been flawless, with multiple daily appearances across New York, each one a masterclass in immaculate transitional season dressing.
Michaela kicked off the tour with a modern twist on the classic skirt suit. The matching set from Ferragamo autumn/winter 2026 featured a fluid cut, with buttoned panels left intentionally undone. She completed the look with a pair of the brand’s sculptural slingbacks, the S-shaped heel mule, and Studio Amelia’s Adler bag.
The long shorts and asymmetrical top
On Friday, she stepped out on in two pieces from Courrèges’ Spring collection. The black asymmetrical top by the French heritage brand was effortlessly cool paired with the chocolate brown bermuda shorts, for a relaxed yet directional city dressing look.
She later she stepped out in head-to-toe Loewe from the autumn/winter 2026 pre-collection. Her leather trousers were adored with the house’s motif in red while flashes of baby blue and neon green were visible underneath her chic longline wool coat.
The military-style ensemble
The shoulder pads, belted waist and peplum cut created an exaggerated silhouette for Michaela’s statement Celine jacket. She completed the tonal look with the brand’s Cheri boots and Little Halfmoon Soft Triomphe bag.
The spring velvet
In contrast, her muted morning look was all rich jewel tones. She wore a red top and purple trousers by New York designer Colleen Allen, the textural clash of plush velvet against fluid tailoring adding a bold, tactile edge.
Michaela leaned into understated cool on Sunday, wearing relaxed-fit jeans and a leather trench from Chanel. She finished the look with the brand’s new two-tone suede kidskin & patent calfskin pumps, which are fast becoming the shoes of the season, adding an It Girl edge to the effortless silhouette.
She later stepped out in more Loewe in the form of this ultra cool colour-block dress in cream, red and navy from the autumn/winter 2026 collection. She styled it with patent knee-high boots and her hair slicked back into a low bun.
Monday meant more Chanel as Michaela was pictured wearing a tweed jacket from the maison’s spring/summer 2026 collection, styled with straight-leg black jeans and more two-toned shoes.
