Molly Ringwald shared a sweet photo set of her 22-year-old daughter Mathilda on social media.
The actress posted a carousel of Mathilda sitting across the table from her during a girls night out at a restaurant. Her daughter wore a spaghetti strap white top, while rocking wavy locks and a smokey eye.
Molly captioned the post: “Still can’t believe I made this! (With some help 😉 @paniogianopoulos I love you so much Mathilda!! #daughter #motherdaughterlove.”
The entertainer has been married to her husband Panio Gianopoulos since 2007. Aside from Mathilda, the duo are also doting parents to twins Adele and Roman, both 15.
Fans loved the pictures and flocked to the comments. One person wrote: “AWWW,” while a second added: “Moms looking at their children thinking the same thing. Â I made this.”
A third person commented: “It’s fun to celebrate our kids. Happy happy!!!” One fan continued: “My mini me is just perfect as well. Love seeing people happy as a parent.”
Molly’s special bond with Mathilda
This isn’t the first time that the actress shared insight into her heartwarming bond with Mathilda.Â
In October for her daughter’s birthday, she wrote a tribute online. It read: “Happiest of birthdays to the one who started me on this whole adventure of motherhood. Your dad and I love you always and forever. You surprise, impress and entertain us with your brilliant mind. Enjoy this trip around the sun. You are one of a kind.”

Her first acting role was in the movie The Idea of You. Mathilda shared what her mother has taught her about the industry and revealed: “Everything! [She said to] be prepared to wait and be nice, which you should always be anyways [and to] remember people’s names,” per People.

Molly learned a lot about motherhood from re-watching her iconic film The Breakfast Club with Mathilda.
She revealed: “What we did get out of it was that … I was putting pressure on her. Because, at the time, I was having a hard time with making her do her homework. … I wanted her to be a certain kind of student,” per 91.3 WYSO.

Although Molly enjoys being a mother in real life, she prefers not to play one on screen.
She shared: “I love being a mom, but I want to play somebody who pushes the story along. You know, where I’m not just sort of patting my kid on the head and saying, ‘You’ll figure it out, honey.'”
