Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding was a no-phones affair, but now one guest has claimed that phones weren’t the only item banned from the event.
911: Nashville star Kimberly Williams-Paisley attended the nuptials alongside her husband, country singer Brad Paisley; the day prior, their Nashville non-profit The Store was one of 20 organizations to receive part of a $26 million donation from the pair.
Before the ceremony, Kimberly spilled the beans to her sister Ashley, and Ashley has now spilled those beans publicly, revealing that Brad purchased a watch because Apple Watches were not allowed to be worn by guests.
Ashley shared that Kimberly was concerned about the logistics of attending an event without her phone, particularly knowing what the time was, and what to do if she had to “navigate the party” solo.
“She was like, ‘What do I do if I have to go to the bathroom? And then I come back from the bathroom, and I don’t know anybody.’ The strategy was to take people with you to the bathroom,” Ashley explained, speaking to PauseRewind.
“She was also like, ‘How am I gonna know what time it is?’ So Brad actually bought a watch because you were not allowed to have Apple Watches, either, so Brad bought just a watch so he could know what time it was.”

Ashley, in sweats, made an appearance at the end, and the caption quipped: “My invitation might have gotten lost in the mail, no idea why.”

Before celebrating the newlyweds, the couple took a moment to publicly thank Taylor and Travis for their extraordinary generosity, as The Store received a $1 million donation.
“On the eve of the wedding of Tay and Trav, this is really an amazing thing to think about, the gift they gave The Store,” Brad said in the video.
“It’s transformative. It will feed so many families, and what a way to start a marriage.”
Kimberly added: “We are so, so grateful for your donation. This is going to go such a long way. Food insecurity is at a 10-year high in Nashville and the timing is just so critical. We’re just really, really grateful for your generosity. And congratulations on your upcoming wedding.”
Feeding America, City Harvest, New York Cares, the Food Bank for New York City, Harvesters in Kansas City, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, the ASPCA and Grammy in the Schools were among the other non-profits to receive donations.
