Amy Adams’ daughter appeared to look more like another A-list star than her own mother as they stepped out together at the Cape Fear premiere in Los Angeles.
15-year-old Aviana, who looked stunning in a blue bandage dress and white pointed heels, sent fans into a frenzy online as they noticed that she looked uncannily like Marvel star Scarlett Johansson, with her blonde locks and beautiful smile.
“Woaw she looks like Scarlett Johansson,” wrote one fan on Instagram, while another added: “Does Amy Adams know she gave birth to Scarlett Johansson?” and a third chimed in: “She looks like Scarlett Johansson!! She’s absolutely stunning!!!”
“Uhm…why am I seeing Scarlett Johansson?” said another, while a fifth declared: “That’s Scarlett Johansson in Don John,” and another added: “Okay so we were all seeing the same thing.”
Amy welcomed her only child in 2010 with her husband, Darren Le Gallo, nine years after they met in an acting class. The Enchanted actress has been open about the struggles of being a working mother over the years, and shared with People that she used to employ a tactic called “closet crying” to cope with the intense pressures of parenting.
“I wasn’t communicating what I really needed…Just burning the candle at both ends until you can only do that for so long, and doing what I call closet crying,” she told the outlet. “You never want anybody to see you cry, so I would cry in the closet, which just paints such a sad picture, but I don’t think I’m alone in that.”
© Getty ImagesAmy explained that when things hit a breaking point, she learned to rely more on her husband. “He stepped up a lot too. Once I got over my own shame at not being perfect at all of this, I really think I was able to have more open communication about not just what I needed but what I felt would benefit our family as a whole,” she said.
Now the family of three make sure to discuss major decisions together, like whether Amy should take a job and be away from home for an extended period of time.
© WireImage“We’ve been talking about it since she was quite young: ‘How do you feel about spending a summer in Boston?’ Or, ‘How do you feel about coming to England with me when I do the play?’ And I’m really lucky she’s got a lot of wanderlust, and she loves traveling,” Amy said of her teen daughter.

© Getty Images“She’s like, ‘I just want you to look like mom, not like Amy Adams.’ And I was like, ‘You got it,” Amy told People. “So, there were years where I didn’t wear makeup wherever we went. I mean, I sneaked some mascara. But yeah, I wouldn’t wear makeup because she wanted me to be just mom.”
As Aviana grows up, she has also taken to giving her mother some fashion advice, too. “I’m usually the least manicured at my household. But lately, per my daughter’s request, I’m working on an upgrade. She’s like, ‘You can’t wear workout clothes if you’re not working out, mom. You can’t just do the leisure part of athleisure.'”
