Romeo Beckham, 24, has unveiled a striking new tattoo on his left bicep, this time depicting Erato, the Greek muse of erotic and romantic poetry.
The piece was inked by artist Jesus at London’s Fine Line Hearts Club and adds to a remarkable collection of over 70 tattoos, turning his body into a canvas that maps his life, values, and relationships.
Erato is traditionally known in Greek mythology as the muse of love and lyrical poetry, often depicted with a lyre or a crown of roses, symbols of passion and romance.
Fans have interpreted Romeo’s latest tattoo as a romantic nod to his girlfriend, DJ and influencer Kim Turnbull, with whom he has been dating since late 2024.
The couple share a love of tattoos, while Romeo expands his collection, Kim has opted for minimalistic designs, including the numbers “62” and “75,” in their recent joint tattoo session in London.
Romeo’s fascination with body art is also deeply rooted in family tradition. His father, David Beckham, has been a major influence, inspiring Romeo’s early tattoos. His iconic cross with wings on the nape of his neck, for example, mirrors David’s own design by Dr. Woo.
Even Justin Bieber commented on Romeo’s post, noting the resemblance to David’s tattoo. Unlike his older brother Brooklyn, who has begun removing family-themed tattoos amid reported internal tensions, Romeo has expressed that he has no regrets about any tattoos dedicated to his family.
This latest addition comes shortly after other meaningful tattoos in 2026, a period marked by a public distancing from his eldest brother. Earlier this year, Romeo tattooed the word “Family” in cursive on the back of his neck, just above his cross with wings.
This contrasts with Brooklyn, who has opted to cover or remove tattoos honoring his parents and siblings. Romeo’s younger brother Cruz, by contrast, continues to embrace tattoos celebrating family, much like Romeo.
Some of Romeo’s other notable tattoos include a lion’s face accompanied by the phrase “Do it afraid,” a bird paired with a rose and the words “Everything passes,” and the word “Romance” inked on his index finger.
On his thigh, the phrase “Love Wins” nods to his current relationship, while a tribute to the late designer Virgil Abloh on his back underscores his admiration for determination and creative vision.
David and Victoria Beckham have not publicly commented on each of Romeo’s 70-plus tattoos, but they reportedly remain supportive and proud. The “Family” tattoo and other similar tributes have taken on heightened significance amid the ongoing family dynamics.
David himself has a vast collection of tattoos dedicated to his children, often paired with religious imagery meant to protect them. Each of his four children is represented in different areas of his body.
Beyond names, David’s tattoos feature collaborative and symbolic designs. A large chest piece depicts Jesus held by three cherubs, representing his three sons and his hope that they will watch over him.
Harper’s childhood drawing of a girl with open arms and a heart is inked on his right palm. The phrase “We love you Daddy,” written in his sons’ handwriting, adorns his ribs, while a more recent “Dadda” tattoo on his neck celebrates his role as a father.
Between the names of his children, a crucified guardian angel on his back serves as a talisman of protection for the family.
For Romeo, tattoos are not just art, they are a declaration of loyalty, love, and personal history, blending mythology, romance, and family into an ever-evolving visual story on his skin.
