The Colombian superstar finally made her highly anticipated appearance during the Topps Final Halftime Show, joining her FIFA World Cup theme collaborator Burna Boy to perform their track, ‘Dai Dai.’ Also performing were Madonna, BTS and Justin Bieber.
Taking to the field at New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Shakira immediately commanded attention in a vibrant pink and orange custom Roberto Cavalli look that appeared designed to move with her.
The singer’s crystal-covered bodysuit featured a daring asymmetric cut-out across the waist and hip, along with a high-cut silhouette and glittering orange and yellow detailing. A dramatic fringed mini skirt in vivid shades of pink, orange and yellow added further movement as she danced across the pitch.
