This charming crime drama, which boasts a Rotten Tomatoes score of 75 per cent, is perfect for fans of lighthearted, picturesque whodunnits like Father Brown, Agatha Raisin and Murder She Wrote. With plenty of intrigue, quirky characters and darkly comic cases, Queens of Mystery is guaranteed to be a thrilling watch.

The series, created by writer Julian Unthank (Doc Martin, New Tricks), follows 27-year-old Matilda Stone (Florence Hall), who has just been promoted to Detective Sergeant and is posted to the Marsh Valley Constabulary in her picturesque hometown of Wildemarsh.

One person wrote in an online review: “Creative entertainment with lovable and interesting characters always finding their way into a mystery to solve. The mystery is entertaining, however the characters and their storyline are the heart of the series,” while another added: “Queens of Mystery is a dark, twisting murder [mystery] in a style reminiscent of A Series of Unfortunate Events. I was hooked after the first show and more invested with each episode. A fun must-watch!”
