Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman both attended the CinemaCon 2026 convention held at The Dolby Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on April 14, However, despite being at the same event, they avoided any form of a reunion with one another.
The former couple made separate onstage appearances at the event to promote their upcoming projects and did not have any photographs taken together.
Nicole looked chic in a black gown by Colleen Allen that featured a plunging neckline with billowing layers of fabric and a ruffled design. The semi-sheer garment was accessorised with diamond-encrusted earrings and a pair of black pointed-toe pumps. The actress’s luscious blonde locks were styled into soft waves while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a smoky eye and glossy, pink lip. Nicole reunited with her Practical Magic co-star Sandra Bullock to preview the film’s upcoming sequel.
Meanwhile, Tom also rocked a monochromatic look, dressed in a black velvet blazer that was layered over a simple shirt and matching black pants. The actor graced the stage alongside director Alejandro G. Inarritu to show a first look at their dark comedy Digger.

Nicole and Tom met while filming Days of Thunder in 1990. They married less than a year after first meeting in a private ceremony with only family members attending in December 1990.
The couple had two kids together while married, adopting Isabella shortly after she was born in 1992, before going on to adopt Connor in 1995. Tom filed for divorce in 2001 citing irreconcilable differences, which was a “major shock” to Nicole.
“He was huge; still is. To me, he was just Tom, but to everybody else, he is huge. But he was lovely to me. And I loved him. I still love him,” she told Ladies’ Home Journal in 2006.
© Getty ImagesFollowing her split from Tom, Nicole told Elle in 2008 that the couple’s kids were raised “amidst a lot of love”. “They are generous, kind and hardworking,” she shared of her two older children. “And these are traits that I love to see in my children.” Connor and his sister, Bella, 32, have not been publicly seen with Nicole since 2007.
Nicole married singer Keith Urban in 2006 after the pair met in 2005 at a G’Day LA event. The couple welcomed two daughters, Sunday Rose in 2008 and Faith Margaret in 2010, before divorcing in 2025.
