When Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner touched down in the Big Apple this week, we all thought we would see them grace the 2026 Met Gala carpet together. Instead, the actor skipped fashion’s biggest night in favour of a surprising alternative: a New York Knicks game.
To commemorate the first Monday in May, Timothée sat on the sidelines of Madison Square Garden to watchGame 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers. The actor donned a black-and-blue striped rugby shirt that featured long sleeves, with a pair of light-wash jeans. The casual ensemble was styled with baby blue Adidas sneakers. Luckily for the star, the Knicks were up 132-95 in the fourth.
While Timothée soaked up the electric fan camaraderie, likely with a hot dog in hand, his other half, Kylie Jenner, commanded the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a striking Schiaparelli gown by Daniel Roseberry.
The custom dress featured a structured nude corset bodice that appeared molded to the body, adorned with artificial nipples and a belly button. The garment cascaded into a silky ivory skirt that was embellished all over with white pearls for a billowing effect.
“The dress feels like it’s slipping away,” celebrity hairstylist Iggy Rosales told Vogue. “It becomes this living sculpture in motion. It feels like it’s unravelling in a really intentional way.”
Kylie’s luscious raven locks were left down in a smooth blowout with a side parting while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a dark smoky eye, nude lip, and bleached brows. “For me, it was about tension between something sculpted and something undone,” he added. “I wanted the hair to reflect that.”

It boasted a plunging neckline with the brand’s signature keyhole detail on the bodice. Kylie wore the exact same garment in a neutral embellished hue to the house’s Paris Fashion Week show in 2023, proving her long-term testament and affiliation with the brand.
