Alex Rodriguez is in the mood for romance. Since July, the sports icon has been involved with the fitness coach Meghan Hayden, with the two spotted at a party hosted by Michael Rubin. According to new reports, they’ve rented a house together.
Alex Rodriguez, 50, and Hayden, 33, have rented a house for the summer in The Hamptons, reports Page Six.
The relationship appears to be solidifying fast, forming after Rodriguez’s breakup from his longtime girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro. Rodriguez and Cordeiro dated for three years, and shared the news of their split in March.
Alex and I are currently taking some time apart, but there continues to be mutual love, care, and deep respect between us and for our families. We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here,” said Cordero to TMZ in May.
According to PEOPLE, Cordeiro and Rodriguez remain “good friends.” In the past, he’s dated some notorious figures, including Jennifer Lopez. He shares two daughters, Natasha and Ella, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.

Rodriguez and Hayden were first spotted together at Michael Rubin’s 4th of July white party. Since then, the two have been photographed in the Hamptons several times, with them photographed kissing and enjoying each other’s company. They also attended the World Cup final, with Hayden sharing a post about the special experience.
“They are dating. It’s new. She’s a really nice person from a great family,” said a source to Page Six.
“They came with a crew of people and definitely looked coupled up,” said another source. “There were other girls trying to talk and flirt with him, but the friends at the table nicely redirected them.”
Yesterday, Hayden celebrated Rodriguez’s birthday with a story on Instagram, launching their relationship on social media. The story was a collage made up of four photos, showing the two embracing in various locations, including a restaurant, a yacht and in front of a pool. “Happy birthday,” she wrote over the images, adding various heart emojis.
Rodriguez reposted the story on his Instagram.
According to Hayden’s website, she’s a former Division I athlete and a University of Miami graduate. “When Meghan isn’t training clients, she’s most likely biking to her next session or modeling on set with household brands like Under Armour & Athleta,” reads her bio.
