Amber Heard shared a rare glimpse into her private family life in Spain, and her daughter Oonagh captured fans’ attention.
The Aquaman actress, 40, took to Instagram on Sunday to celebrate completing the KLM Norte Sur 10K race in Madrid, posting a series of candid snapshots from the event.
In one image, Amber beamed into the camera after crossing the finish line, dressed in a pink sports bra and matching running shorts with her race number pinned to the front.
“First race glow,” she captioned the post. But another sweet photograph stole the spotlight.
The actress shared a touching image of herself hugging her five-year-old daughter Oonagh after completing the race. The youngster’s tumbling blonde curls were on full display as she wrapped her arms around her mother in a celebratory embrace.
“Nothing beats this feeling,” Amber wrote across the image. The rare family update comes as the actress continues to enjoy a quieter life in Spain, where she relocated following her highly publicised defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp in 2022.
Amber is now a mother-of-three. In addition to Oonagh, she welcomed twins Agnes and Ocean last year.
The actress has largely stepped away from the Hollywood spotlight in recent years, focusing instead on raising her children in Madrid.
Running appears to remain an important part of her daily routine. Amber is frequently spotted jogging through the Spanish capital and has long spoken about the positive impact exercise has on her wellbeing.
Speaking to SHAPE magazine, she previously revealed that running helps her manage stress and maintain balance amid a busy life.
“I like running because it’s a way for me to alleviate stress, clear my mind, and refocus,” she said.
“Plus I can do it anywhere. I travel so much that it’s invaluable to me to have something that keeps me healthy and feeling good no matter where I am.”
The actress has also shared her philosophy around health and fitness, explaining that she prefers a balanced approach rather than striving for perfection.
“If you’re not going to enjoy life, there’s no point in eating a certain way and working out and doing all the things actors do to manipulate how we look,” she said.
“When I’m not preparing for a movie, I have more freedom, and I incorporate my workout into my life, so that I enjoy it and it doesn’t feel like an obligation.”
Amber has embraced life in Spain since leaving the United States. In a 2023 interview with local reporters, she revealed that she loves living in the country and intends to stay there long-term.
Now settled in Madrid with her children, the actress appears to be thriving, balancing motherhood, fitness and a more private lifestyle far from the glare of Hollywood.
