Shannon Elizabeth is already reaping the benefits from joining OnlyFans.
The American Pie star, 52, revealed last month that she had joined OnlyFans, in an effort to take narrative control of her life.
She launched her page April 16, and reportedly earned a whopping seven figures already within the first week of the page being up.
Now, speaking with PageSix, Shannon has revealed that she’s definitely planning to treat herself with the money, though first she is focused on finding a place to live, since she has been “staying with friends” since she and her estranged husband, Simon Borchert, quietly split in September 2025.
“I haven’t figured out where I’m going to live and if I’m going to buy, if I’m going to rent, what can I do?” she mused, noting that she definitely plans to stay in South Africa, where she moved in 2016 and where her Shannon Elizabeth Foundation, which is dedicated to protecting endangered species, preserving critical habitats, supporting rangers on the frontlines, and conservation, is based.
“I love it here! I have such a great friend group here,” she maintained. “So my first thing is figuring out where I’m going to stay and get my own place again. Everything’s been in storage since, like, September, so I need all my stuff out of storage.”
Shannon married her ex Simon, who similarly works in environmental and animal welfare in South Africa, in 2021, and filed for divorce last month.
The activist also told the outlet that focusing on OnlyFans has helped her recover from her split. “From September to the end of March, at least, it was really, really, really difficult. It was very emotional, and it was just figuring out how to restart everything and kind of just starting from scratch, to be honest. So it was, ‘Well, now what?'”
And while her page on the social media platform and her work with her vacation will continue to keep her busy, she’s not done with acting, and hopes her new financial freedom gives her more authority in the roles he chooses.
She hopes to take on projects that aren’t necessarily “because I need the money,” and moreover she shared she wants to “move more into directing and producing as well.”
“I’ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career. This new chapter is about changing that, showing off a more sexy side no one has seen, and being closer to my fans,” she also told People of joining Only Fans.
“I’m choosing OnlyFans because it allows me to connect directly with my audience, create on my own terms, and just be free. I really do think this is the future,” she added.
