Savannah Guthrie gave some sartorial advice to her co-star Jenna Bush Hager as she called out her fashion choice live on the Today Show. Jenna wore a with maxi dress that featured a sleeveless design and flowing silhouette with a pair of red leather sandals adored with gold buckle hardware.
While Savannah was a fan of the shoes, she noted that the styling choice with the white dress was not one of Jenna’s best television looks. “She’s got these very fancy but clunky shoes,” said Savannah. “They’re in,” replied Jenna.
“You’ve seen them. They’re very in. I like them. She’s worn them a hundred times. I wanted to buy them. I couldn’t find them. But I’m like, not with the dress,” added Savannah. Jenna then candidly revealed her co-star’s reaction to seeing her outfit.
“And I just had them on. And Savannah goes, ‘Oh!'” she shared.
Following the shoes, NBC posted a behind-the-scenes clip on social media that captured the co-hosts chatting about the outfit once more. “This is the classic example,” said Savannah, pointing at Jenna’s outfit.
“Do you not like that?” Jenna asked the crew backstage. “That’s what she was wearing. She was like, ‘I’m headed to set,'” said Savannah. “It’s because they’re comfortable,” replied Jenna.
© NBCDespite criticising the outfit, Savannah concluded that she thought the shoes themselves were super stylish. “I love them. You know I want them. They’re like designer Birks. They’re fab,” she said. The NBC star, who wore a red-and-white striped maxi skirt with a sleeveless navy blouse, then proceeded to try on the sandals. “She’s wearing my shoes, she styled them right,” said Jenna.

Jenna’s fashion choices have been quite the conversation starter during the show in June. On June 4, she twinned with her co-host Dylan Dreyer in powder blue sleeveless mini dresses with blonde bobs.

Dylan styled her dress with nude pointed-toe heels while Jenna opted for a brown suede pump. Their co-hosts quickly dubbed the moment “beautiful”.
