Amy Schumer has offered fans a rare glimpse inside her stunning new New York City home, and it’s every bit as dreamy as she promised.

The comedian, 44, took to Instagram on May 7 to share a series of beautifully curated images from her newly designed apartment, revealing a serene, light-filled space that overlooks Central Park’s iconic Reservoir.

Alongside the photos, Amy reflected on the emotional significance of the move, writing: “I’m grateful every single day. Beautiful and filled with love. I know I know but it’s true. I never dreamed I would get to live somewhere like my home.”

And it’s easy to see why, the expansive living area is the heart of the home, with sweeping bay windows framing uninterrupted views of the park’s lush greenery and water beyond. A carefully arranged seating area, featuring plush armchairs, a large neutral-toned sectional and layered rugs, creates an inviting, almost cocoon-like atmosphere, ideal for both entertaining and quiet family moments.

Soft, earthy tones dominate the palette, while subtle details, from sculptural side tables to thoughtfully placed floral arrangements, add warmth and personality. It’s a space that feels both elevated and lived-in, a delicate balance that speaks to Amy’s relaxed, grounded approach to life.

In another corner of the apartment, a curved window nook offers what might be the most enviable seat in the house: a cosy lounge chair positioned perfectly for soaking in the skyline and park views. It’s the kind of spot that invites slow mornings, long conversations, or simply a moment to pause.

The dining room continues the theme of understated sophistication, anchored by a round wooden table surrounded by soft-upholstered chairs. Above it hangs a bold red statement light, injecting a playful contrast into the otherwise neutral space. A vase of fresh flowers sits at the centre, reinforcing the home’s emphasis on comfort and connection.

Amy also credited interior design firm Ashe Leandro for helping bring her vision to life, and the result is a space that feels deeply intentional yet effortlessly stylish.

The move marks a new chapter for the Trainwreck star, who sold her Brooklyn townhouse, famously featured in the 1987 film Moonstruck, in November 2025 for $11 million. The property, which she shared with ex-husband Chris Fischer, had been listed earlier that year for $14 million.

At the time, Amy admitted she would miss the home she and Fischer shared with their seven-year-old son, Gene, calling the neighbourhood “the best hood ever” and reflecting on the three years they spent there.

Buying this apartment, she said, was “a big deal for me. It felt like such a palace.”

Despite being enclosed in glass and boasting an impressive wrap-around balcony and stunning views, Amy said she loves that it’s “like a fancy rich person’s apartment” . gs
