It’s Friday, which means we have our weekly round-up of fresh new music to add to your playlist. This week’s round-up includes emotional ballads and genre-blending collaborations by A-list names and rising stars that continue to redefine Latin music. Whether you want something nostalgic, romantic, or dance floor-ready, this week’s releases have you covered.
Becky G – EPA
Becky G is officially entering her hot girl summer era with the release of her new single “EPA,” a bilingual track filled with Mexican culture and pride. Fans have been waiting weeks for the single after she teased it online, and she did not disappoint. The music video, directed by Dominican filmmaker Olivia De Camps and filmed at El Mercadito, turns an everyday LA neighborhood spot into a vibrant dance party with a surprise cameo from drag queen Valentina. The Mexican-American singer looks amazing in the video as she shows off her toned physique and dance moves. She also makes what seems like a subtle act of protest as she slams a giant block of ice with a sledgehammer.
Gera MX, Kapo – Mira Como Me Tienes
Gera MX is entering a new era with the release of his latest album X Amor al Arte. One of the project’s biggest standout moments is “Mira Cómo Me Tienes” featuring Kapo. The collaboration blends Gera’s signature rap style with a more emotional urban-pop sound, showing a softer and more global side of the Mexican artist. Released alongside a cinematic music video directed by Gama Tejeda, the track serves as the emotional centerpiece of the album and sets the tone for the ambitious new chapter Gera is stepping into. X Amor al Arte also includes collaborations with artists like Christian Nodal, Natalia Jiménez, and Nanpa Básico as Gera continues to push Spanish-language rap into new territory.
Shakira, Burna Boy – Dai Dai
Shakira and Burna Boy just teamed up for what may become the soundtrack of the summer with their new single “Dai Dai.” It will also serve as the official anthem for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, with Shakira donating her royalties from the song and $1 from every ticket sold on her upcoming Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour to the Education Fund. The release comes ahead of Shakira’s history-making FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final Halftime Show performance on July 19 alongside Madonna and BTS. “The World Cup is one of the few things the entire world experiences together,” Burna Boy shared. “Football and music speak the same language. They bring people together no matter where you’re from, and being part of this moment through music means a lot to me.”
Lasso – ¡¡¡FELIZ ANIVERSARIO!!!
Venezuelan singer Lasso is turning heartbreak into healing with his new single “¡¡¡FELIZ ANIVERSARIO!!!,” an emotional indie-folk track that reflects on breakups with acceptance instead of sadness. “I was tired of hearing myself complain in my songs about breakups that ended up being some of the best things that ever happened to me,” Lasso shared. “‘¡¡¡FELIZ ANIVERSARIO!!!’ is a reminder that, in many cases, breakups shouldn’t be suffered, they should be celebrated.” The release arrives as the Latin GRAMMY-winning artist continues his international festival run ahead of his upcoming album, including upcoming performances in Madrid and New York City alongside Natalia Lafourcade.
Maluma – El Vallenato
Maluma is going back to his roots with the release of his new studio album Loco X Volver, a deeply personal project inspired by Medellín, the city that shaped him and his music. “It’s the most important and most personal album I’ve ever made,” Maluma shared. “It represents my roots, my culture… making this album was my way of healing and finding that rebirth.” The album features collaborations with Kany García, Arcángel, Ryan Castro, and the late Yeison Jiménez, alongside previously released tracks like “1+1,” “BOTERO,” and “Pa’ la seca.” “El Vallenato,” which is a vallenato with Maluma’s personal twist, was co-written by Colombian vallenato star Felipe Peláez and rising star Maisak.
Fabiii – Idiomas
Rising artist Fabiii is continuing to carve out her own lane with the release of her latest single “Idiomas.” Blending alternative Brazilian funk with global pop influences, the track explores how love can transcend borders, cultures, and even language itself. One of the song’s standout moments comes during the pre-chorus, where Fabiii effortlessly switches between six different languages: Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, German, and Italian, adding to the track’s international and genre-bending feel.
RØZ, Artemas – HBU
RØZ enters a bold new era with the release of “HBU” featuring breakout UK artist Artemas. It’s the latest single from their upcoming debut album SE ESTÁ HACIENDO TARDE, arriving August 7. Blending electronic production with bilingual energy, the track continues pushing the duo’s genre-bending sound into new territory. “‘HBU’ is a statement of how the Latino and english speaking culture can merge to create a crazy, sexy, and beautiful experience for the world to listen,” RØZ shared. “This song is how we envision music moving forward… no limits, no boundaries, no nothing, just feelings.” The release follows a massive year for the duo, who recently performed during both weekends of Coachella alongside surprise guests including Rauw Alejandro, DannyLux, and NSQK, while also joining Peso Pluma onstage in New York City.
Lenny Tavárez – PA’ LO BONITO
Lenny Tavárez steps into salsa with “PA’ LO BONITO,” a romantic new collaboration with legendary producer Sergio George. Built around themes of love, nostalgia, and emotional connection, the track shows a softer and more intimate side of Tavárez while embracing the timeless rhythm of salsa. The release marks the duo’s third collaboration following “El Yate (Salsa Version)” and “Que Culpa Tengo Yo,” while the Miami-shot music video adds to the nostalgic feel by following Lenny dancing with his wife, Natasha Nazario, inside a family home.
DOMELIPA – EVEREST
Mexican singer Domelipa is getting personal with “Everest,” an emotional new single dedicated to her mom, family, and even her cat Jecha. Produced by Sweet Nenes, the track shows a softer and more vulnerable side of the artist as she reflects on unconditional love and the people who stay by your side through everything. “This song comes from a very real place for me,” the artist said. “It’s for my mom, for my family, and for Jecha, who has been such an important part of my life and my heart. ‘Everest’ is about that kind of love that never goes away, about the people who are there for you in the good moments and the hard ones. I wanted to show something more intimate, something that truly feels like me.”
BNYX®, Bizarrap, Yeat, Peso Pluma – fuëgo
Peso Pluma, Bizarrap, and Yeat are turning up the heat with “fuëgo,” a futuristic, high-energy collaboration featured on BNYX’s debut album GENESIS FM. As the only Latin artists featured on the project alongside names like Quavo, Big Sean, and Kid Cudi, Peso and Bizarrap continue pushing Latin music deeper into the global conversation with a chaotic, genre-blurring sound built for the future.
