Bella Hadid is looking back on some of her favorite memories in the saddle.
The supermodel took to Instagram to share a collection of photos from the past several years, offering fans a glimpse into her life on horseback. The snapshots featured Hadid riding alongside fellow equestrians, competing in barrel racing, and spending time with horses that have become especially meaningful to her.
“The past few years of my favorite time of the year š¤,” she began the caption, before using the post to spotlight the people and traditions that have left a lasting impression on her.
Bella Hadid Pays Tribute to a Charro Family
Hadid gave a heartfelt shoutout to the Garcilazo family, expressing her admiration for their talent, generosity, and dedication to preserving Mexican charro culture.
“Just wanted to send a special shout out and much love, respect, and admiration to @charroontheroad_tjgarcilazo incredibly talented, beautiful, kind, humble, and hardworking family, filled with so much love ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø,” she wrote.
She went on to reveal how honored she felt after being trusted to represent Mexico by carrying the family’s flag during an eventāan experience she described as unforgettable.
“I will always be grateful that they trusted me to carry their flag! one that means so much to me and I feel proud to hold! mexico! š²š½ It was an honor beyond words.”
Hadid also reflected on the privilege of riding one of the family’s horses, calling the animal both “angel-hearted” and “unbelievably talented.”
“And getting to ride their angel-hearted horse, who is truly one of a kind and unbelievably talented, made it all even more specialā¦”
Celebrating Mexican Traditions
The model continued by praising the family’s commitment to celebrating and sharing their heritage.

Addressing the horse, affectionately named Monster, Hadid thanked the animal for helping her develop her barrel racing skills and described the bond they share as once-in-a-lifetime.
