Cardi B shuts down speculation claiming she was envious of Isha Ambani’s ultra-rare Hermès Birkin Sac Bijou

A brief front-row interaction between Cardi B and Isha Ambani has become one of the biggest celebrity fashion moments of Paris Haute Couture Week. What started as a viral clip of the Grammy-winning rapper appearing to admire Ambani’s extraordinary look quickly sparked online speculation, with many social media users claiming Cardi B looked stunned by the billionaire heiress’s 2 million Hermès Birkin bag. 

The conversation has now taken another turn after Cardi B addressed the viral claims herself.

Cardi B Shuts Down Viral Speculation

Social media users flooded platforms with videos suggesting Cardi B couldn’t stop looking at Isha Ambani’s luxurious diamonds and ultra-rare Hermès Birkin Sac Bijou during Rahul Mishra’s Fall/Winter 2026 couture presentation in Paris.

Some even claimed the rapper looked envious of Ambani’s lavish accessories. Cardi B, however, wasted no time responding.

The rapper dismissed the speculation online, making it clear that the viral narrative did not reflect what actually happened. Her response quickly spread across social media, shifting the focus away from rumors and back to the spectacular fashion on display. “Please … I was actually looking at her insane necklace and the diamonds on her braids …The clarity was like water,” she wrote in the comments section.

Isha Ambani’s 100-Carat Diamond Look Became the Center of Attention

Even without the online chatter, Isha Ambani’s jewelry was always destined to steal the spotlight. The Reliance Retail executive attended Rahul Mishra‘s couture show wearing more than 100 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.

Her breathtaking collection included a rivière necklace featuring a remarkable 30-carat cushion-cut center diamond, complemented by an additional 40 carats of diamonds. She completed the look with 25-carat diamond earrings and a striking 7-carat oval-cut diamond ring. Isha’s braid also featured a row of massive diamonds.

Her accessories didn’t end there.

Ambani carried one of the world’s rarest handbags, the Hermès Birkin Sac Bijou. Crafted from 18-karat white gold and embellished with more than 3,000 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling over 111 carats, the miniature masterpiece is valued at around $2 million. The collectible bag is considered more of a high jewelry creation than a traditional handbag, as reported by Page Six.

Cardi B’s Rahul Mishra Couture Look Was Equally Unforgettable

While much of the internet focused on Ambani’s diamonds, Cardi B also delivered one of the standout fashion moments of Paris Haute Couture Week. The rapper wore a custom ivory couture gown by acclaimed Indian designer Rahul Mishra.

 Inspired by the 12th-century Mohini sculpture at Karnataka’s Chennakeshava Temple, the gown featured intricate embroidery designed to resemble carved stone, celebrating India’s artistic heritage.

She completed the dramatic ensemble with a maang tikka, statement earrings and a couture diamond necklace, perfectly complementing Mishra’s “Devi: The Eternal Muse” collection.
