Cassie Ventura has revealed that she is now living outside the United States and does not plan to move back, according to a court declaration filed on May 1, 2026. The declaration, reviewed by Complex, states plainly: “I reside outside of the United States” and later adds, “I do not intend to move back to the United States.”

The filing is an indication that Ventura has chosen to establish a permanent life abroad after years of legal disputes and public scrutiny stemming from her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs. According to the court document, Ventura remains a U.S. citizen but is no longer a resident of California.

The filing notes that it would be significantly easier for her to participate in legal proceedings in New York, where her attorneys are based, rather than in California. The declaration is connected to an ongoing California lawsuit filed by Clayton Howard, a male escort who claims he was hired by Ventura and Combs to participate in sexual encounters and further claims that he fathered a pregnancy with Ventura that never culminated. In his lawsuit, he alleges that he suffered physical and psychological injuries resulting from what he describes as abuse.

Ventura has strongly disputed aspects of Howard’s claims in court filings. As part of her response, she points to an alleged message Howard sent to her husband, Alex Fine, in 2023 after she first publicly accused Combs of abuse.

According to court documents, Howard allegedly wrote that Ventura’s account was “100% valid” and expressed relief that she had received some measure of justice. The message also allegedly referenced witnessing troubling incidents involving Combs and claimed Ventura endured physical violence during their relationship.

The latest filing comes after Ventura reportedly received a series of major legal settlements. Reports indicate that she received approximately $20 million from Combs in connection with her abuse allegations. She also reportedly secured an additional settlement of roughly $10 million from the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City hotel after surveillance footage surfaced showing Combs physically assaulting her in a hotel hallway.

Those settlements, totaling an estimated $30 million, appear to have provided Ventura with the financial flexibility to build a new life outside the United States.

While TMZ reports that Ventura’s current location remains unclear, the court declaration confirms that she is now residing abroad. She has not publicly disclosed the country where she is living.

Ventura testified in 2025 during Combs’ federal criminal trial while pregnant and living in New York. Shortly afterward, she welcomed her third child with husband Alex Fine.

According to People, Ventura gave birth to the couple’s third child, a son, on May 28, 2025, just weeks after her testimony concluded.
